Our friends at the Australian Institute of Horticulture have announced a exhibition garden display at this years Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, titled ‘Grow Shade Wise with AIH'. The event and garden will take place from Wednesday 20th March at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens, Melbourne.
The exhibition garden will showcase the latest ‘green’ trends in shade-centric garden design - essential in today's rising climate.
AIH also supports the ShadeSmart Program, a collaboration between the Cancer Institute NSW, Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, and Cancer Council NSW. This initiative aims to educate built environment professionals on creating quality outdoor shade for better UV protection to prevent skin cancer. Additionally, the Cancer Council NSW aids workplaces in enhancing UV protection for outdoor workers.
